Tuesday WLS Express

I woke up to a kitty being sick and wasn't quick enough to get her off the bed, so I was changing bed and washing sheets and blankets at 1:30 this morning. So I have been up and down since 1:30 and THAT definitely suxs!  I hate it when I can't sleep. What a way to start the day...

I hope all you guys up in the DFW area are able to stay warm and off the roads.  It looks like we will get this later today or tonight.  OH JOY!!!

Good morning everyone,

Saying prayers of safety for all of my chosen family.  Please only go out if you have to. 

I took my Rocky to the vet yesterday and he does have another bladder stone.  I went ahead and left him there so I didn't have to worry about getting him there again this morning.  He will have surgery today to remove the stone.  My vet called a specialist in Kansas to get more info and found out that despite diet, this type of stone will return every 2-5 years regardless and it's been 2.5 years since his last surgery.  Bummer.  Rocky is almost 11 years old so hopefully this will get him through the rest of his lifespan.  I will see how much it will cost to put him on the special diet to maybe get him to the 5 year mark next time around.  His urine ph was also very low which is unrelated so we have to figure out a way to get that up as well.  Poor kitty. 

Hopefully we will get off work early today.  My boss is very cautious when it comes to our safety so if it looks hazardous, they will let us go.  Please be safe.  Saying prayers for all of you.  Have a great day.

Good morning.  I hit snooze for an hour this morning, which I haven't done since high school.  I just didn't want to get up today.  I went to bed angry and am full of resentment for my DH, which isn't good this early in the morning. 

I needed to be at work by now and here I sit in my robe after just getting out of the shower.  Why couldn't the ice have come in earlier?

I have prayed this morning for help with my anger, but so far, it is still there.  I need to try harder, I suppose.

The good news is that I did hit my 50 pound mark today.  I was sort of sad yesterday when I didn't hit it for the official Monday weigh in, so I upped my water, and worked out last night.  When I weighed this morning I had lost 2 pounds.   Yeah!  Officially  I have lost 51 pounds. 

We'll I am off to get dressed.  I think today will be a ponytail and jeans day.  It should be a busy day at work but I bet I can cut out early if the weather gets bad.

Thanks for letting me vent.

what happened to my nice quiet day at home?? now i got kids everywhere lol. Dang ice!!!
Mom is doing good,  having a few minor issues... but has a call into the doc to see whats up.  Having nightmares as the anesthesia works out of her, so i told her to make sure to drink lots and lots to help flu**** all out.

Good morning, train riders!

I don't hop on much, but I took a vacation day today since I have to go to my son's school at 10:20 am to discuss his 4-year high school curriculum and it was going to mess up my day so bad I just took off.

I used to dread these meetings.  No, my son isn't in trouble LOL all parents of 8th graders are doing this.  I dreaded it because I looked fat no matter what I wore and didn't look professional.  I dreaded having to sit in the student desks and trying to squeeze my fat butt in them.

This morning I will be putting on a smart pair of khakis (thanks, Andres W!) and a tailored shirt and not worry a bit about how I look.  The school is only a mile away and instead of stressing over the parking I am walking up there.  I will wear flats for the walk and carry my high heel ankle boots in my shoulder bag and change before I go in.

Ugg!!  That is my word for the day.  What a crappy weekend I have had.  The ranch was relaxing but Tim was sick the entire time so no quality time with him.  Then I woke up yesterday with severe pain in my tummy region and yep I had caught whatever Tim had.  Spent the day yesterday in bed and in the bath room.  I woke up feeling better today but the longer I am on the computer the more I realize how weak I am feeling so will probably go lay down soon.  At least the pain is gone and I am not running to the bathroom every couple of minutes.  Tim left to go out of town again yesterday so I have a lonely day ahead of me.  Will probably jus****ch some movies and cuddle down under a blankie somewhere.  I hope those of you that have to be out in this weather stay safe.  Remember that the roads don't have to look slick for them to be sick.
Well I am getting dizzy sitting here so I am going to make me some cider and get a movie ready.

Good morning!

We are being released at 1:30 today from school. Looks like its going to get bad out there. I was hoping that we could have just slept in this morning, but no go. So here I am.

I have a sinus infection so I didn't go to work yesterday. Missed my kiddos.

This week Kaylee goes to the FW Stock Show to show. She will be showing on Saturday. Those barns are going to be COLD! Not looking forward to being cold, but I am excited that she is going  to be there. I hope she does well.
